Shihan Saeed Zarin Derakht was born in 1966 in Tehran. He was interested in sports and martial arts that led him to do sports like boxing, karate, jujitsu and freestyle wrestling. He migrated to Japan in 1990 and got acquainted with aikido in 1994.
He began learning aikido from Shibata Koichi Shihan (Dan 8) and it lasted about 14 years. He has continued learning aikido from masters like Koide Takeo Shihan (Dan 8), Ishi Akira Shihan (Dan 8) and Ichiro Shishiya Shihan (Dan 7) after the death of Sensei Kiochi.
Shihan Zarin Derakht began teaching and propagating aikido MeiSeiKai in Iran officially with the permission from martial arts federation of I.R.Iran to teach and register dojo after 23 years of practicing and hard work to achieve attainments of aikido under the supervision of masters in Japan and with international degree of Aikido Aikikai (Dan 5) from the Hombu dojo (international aikido center) and by the license of being the assignee of aikido meiseikai in I.R.Iran from Shihan Ichiro Shishiya the international stylist of aikido meiseikai (Dan 7). The main purpose of Shihan is scientific and technical improvement of trainers and trainees by teaching the original advanced aikido technics with respect to standards of Japan.
